Brandon McNulty (Phoenix, Ariz; UAE Team Emirates) and Lawson Craddock (Houston, Texas; EF Education First Pro Cycling) raced the Elite Men’s Time Trial today in Imola, Italy. With three medals and a rainbow jersey at the U23 and Junior Time Trials, McNulty performed well at his debut performance as an elite rider at only 22-years-old. McNulty has proven to be a strong asset to the U.S. National Team clocking in a time of 38:45.88, landing him in 29th place. Craddock was able to dig deep after the intermediate split to finish with a time of 38:48.58, where he placed just behind McNulty.
Racing continues tomorrow with the Elite Women’s Road Race starting at 6:45 a.m. EDT / 3:45 a.m. PDT. The roster is as follows:
